Overview:

Gigamon is looking for a motivated Regional Sales Director to drive sales and expand adoption of Gigamon capabilities in the assigned territory. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial self-starter with a strong direct sales background.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities.
  • Manage the sales lifecycle and achieve sales budgets by growing existing accounts and developing new ones.
  • Maintain a customer database in Salesforce.
  • Conduct effective sales calls and secure incremental business.
  • Collaborate with Regional Business Managers and Product Managers to identify market opportunities and develop business strategies.
  • Attend trade shows and provide market insights.
  • Assist in product development and training lower-level sales staff.
Qualifications:
  • BA/BS in Business, CIS, or related field preferred.
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience.
  • Analytical skills in a high-performance environment.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, quoting software, SQL, and Crystal Reports is a plus.
  • Strong organization, communication, and presentation skills.
Compensation:
The base salary compensation range targeted for this role based out of Gigamon’s Santa Clara, CA, Headquarters office is $131,000 - $164,000, with an opportunity to earn an annual bonus or commission (subject to terms and conditions of the plan). This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices. 
  
Employees in this position are eligible to participate in the Company’s standard employee benefit programs, which currently include health insurance, health savings accounts, life, AD&D, disability, 401(k) plan with company matching contributions, paid time off (holidays, vacation, and sick), tuition reimbursement, employee assistance program (EAP), business travel accident insurance, employee discounts, and employee referral program. Additionally, employees in this position are eligible to participate in the Profit Interest Units plan.
